Job Description

A national AmLaw / BigLaw firm is seeking a strong litigation associate to join its Austin office. This is a selective opportunity for attorneys who have trained in sophisticated environments and want to continue working on complex, high-stakes matters alongside top-tier litigators.

The Role

  • Work on complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts
  • Draft substantive motions, briefs, and discovery
  • Take an active role in depositions, hearings, and trial prep
  • Partner closely with experienced attorneys on strategy and case development
  • Collaborate with teams across offices on nationally significant matters

What They Are Looking For

  • JD from a top law school with strong academic performance
  • 2 to 6 years of litigation experience, ideally in an AmLaw or comparable BigLaw setting
  • Texas Bar admission or ability to waive in
  • Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills
  • Sound judgment, attention to detail, and intellectual curiosity
  • A collaborative, low-ego approach and interest in long-term growth
